Our workshop is over at 101 in the Bharat Industrial Estate. If you know Sewri, you know Tokershi Jivraj Road can get pretty crowded with trucks and workers moving things around. We have been in this spot for a long time. The space is filled with tools and materials we use every day. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the work we do, but that is just how an industrial estate is. People come to Ankeet Arts when they need something specific made or designed. We do not really do much advertising; mostly people just find us or hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood. Usually, we are busy measuring things out or working on the machines. It is noisy sometimes, but we are used to it. The lights in here are bright so we can see what we are doing. We keep a pot of tea going most afternoons. It is not a showroom where everything is shiny. It is a place where work actually happens. We have stacks of paper and boards leaning against the walls. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a clear spot on the table to show a customer a sample. We just focus on getting the job done properly and making sure it is ready when we said it would be. That is what our daily life at the estate looks like. We just try to get through our list of orders.
