Ananta Shesha Foundation

We have been operating out of A-7 1050 in the municipal tenements here in Mumbai for a while now. It is a busy spot near NAMD, and things are always moving quickly around the neighborhood. Most people around here know where Plot 1050 is. It isn’t a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. We just have a small space where we get our work done day to day. Living and working in this part of Maharashtra means you get used to the noise and the crowds pretty quickly. Some days it is quiet, but usually, there is a lot going on right outside the door. We started Ananta Shesha Foundation because we saw things that needed doing in our community. We do not have a big team or some massive budget to throw around. It is just a few of us trying to stay organized and help out where it makes sense. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, or the electricity acts up, but we manage. If you are walking through the tenements, you might see us around. We do not spend much time on the computer unless we absolutely have to. Most of the time, we are just talking to people or figuring out the next task on the list. It is practical work. No one here is wearing a suit or giving speeches. We just keep the door open and try to be useful to the folks living around 400022. It is home for us, and that is how we treat the foundation.
