Aks Art Gallery

Our gallery is located in Adarsh Nagar, over in Jogeshwari West. We are pretty close to the Samarth Vaibhav Shopping Centre, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. It’s a bit quieter than the main road, but still has that city feel. Inside Aks Art Gallery, we have various pieces hanging on the walls. It’s not a massive space, but we try to use every inch of it. The lighting is something we pay attention to because it makes the room feel better. It’s a local spot where we spend our hours looking at frames and arranging things. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the daily stuff like cleaning the glass and talking to anyone who wanders in. Sometimes people from the shopping center nearby pop in just to look around. We have a couple of benches where you can sit. It’s not a high-pressure environment at all. It feels more like a workshop sometimes, especially when we are moving things around. The walls are mostly white so the colors of the art stand out. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place organized. It’s a decent place to work. We aren't trying to be the fanciest gallery in Mumbai. We just like having this space in Jogeshwari and doing what we do every day without too much fuss. It is a nice way to spend the day.
