Akruti Arts

We are based in Goregaon East, specifically in the B Wing of the Satpuda Building. Our unit is number 5. It is a fairly quiet building compared to the main road, which is nice when we are trying to focus on our work. Akruti Arts isn't a massive studio; it is more like a cozy workspace where things actually get done. We have shelves filled with different materials and the walls have some marks from where we’ve moved things around over the years. The light coming through the windows in the afternoon is actually quite good for seeing what we are doing. We mostly just stick to ourselves and get the day's tasks finished. Sometimes the neighbors from the other flats in the B Wing stop by to say hello or ask a quick question. It feels more like a community than a business park, which we prefer. The Satpuda Building has been around for a while, so the elevators are a bit slow and the hallways have that old-building smell. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. If you come by, you’ll just see us at our benches working away. It is a simple setup in a regular part of Goregaon, and it works for the kind of stuff we do. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized in our own little way.
