Dadar is always a busy part of the city, and we are right in the thick of it at Ram Gopal Industrial Estate. Our spot is Gala No 28, which sits directly opposite the Kohinur Technical Institute. It’s a working area, so you’ll hear the sounds of machines and people shouting across the yard all day long. We spend most of our time inside the shop, surrounded by canvases, frames, and various supplies. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. Usually, the morning starts with a quick cleaning before we get into the actual work. We don't really have a showroom or anything fancy. It’s just a space where we make things. Sometimes people wander in after seeing our sign while heading to the institute. We chat for a bit, maybe show them what we are currently working on. The air gets a bit heavy in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going. Most of our neighbors are also small workshops, so there is a sense of everyone just doing their own thing. We get our tea from a local vendor who knows exactly how we like it. By the time evening rolls around, the traffic in Dadar West gets pretty intense. We usually pack up then, leaving the tools ready for the next day's start. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the hours.
