V.K. Marble

We are right here at F-106 in the RIICO Industrial Area in Bidiyad. It’s a pretty standard setup for this part of town. We’ve got our machinery and our stock all in one place. My family has been doing this for years, and we’ve learned that marble is never predictable. Each block is a bit different, so we spend a lot of time looking at patterns and checking for flaws. We don't try to hide anything from the people who come to buy from us. If a slab has a vein that might be weak or a spot that looks odd, we’ll point it out to you. It’s just easier that way and saves trouble later. Our days start early when the first trucks arrive to be loaded or unloaded. We do a lot of the loading ourselves to make sure nothing gets chipped or cracked. The yard isn't fancy, just a lot of stone and some heavy equipment. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough in this town. People know where we are and what we do. We just focus on getting the cutting done and making sure the measurements are what the customer asked for. It’s a simple way to work, really. We work hard, keep the machines running, and try to be honest about what we can do for you. That’s how we’ve always operated and we don't see any reason to change.
