D. S.Marble

Our place, D. S.Marble, is located right on the bypass road near Borawar Road. It is a busy stretch of road with a lot of trucks going back and forth all day long. We’ve been here for a long time, just handling marble blocks and slabs. The yard is usually white with dust, which is just how it is when you work with stone every day. We don’t do much in the way of advertising or fancy signs. Mostly, people just see us when they’re driving past and pull over to take a look at what we’ve got. We spend our time helping folks find a piece of marble that looks right for their project. It is hard physical labor, and we have to be careful not to chip the edges when we’re moving things around. The weather can be a bit much sometimes, especially when the wind picks up the dust, but we manage to get through it. We aren't a big company with a lot of rules or offices. It is just a few of us here making sure the yard stays organized. We know the other shop owners around Borawar Road pretty well since we're all in the same boat. It’s a tough business but it keeps us busy. We don’t have any big speeches. We just sell marble and try to be fair about it.
