Abhishek Marble Supp. is located at Shop No. B-10 on Makrana Road. We are situated very close to National Highway-8, so there are always trucks and lorries passing by our front door. The air is often thick with dust from the marble and the road traffic, but we are used to it by now. Our shop is a straightforward place. We have rows of marble slabs lined up for people to see. There isn't any fancy lighting or air-conditioned rooms here. It’s just us and the stone. We spend our days moving heavy blocks and talking to drivers about deliveries. It’s a physical job that keeps us on our feet all day long. Makrana Road is a well-known spot for this kind of work, so we are in good company with the other shops. We’ve been at B-10 for a long time. The team is small, mostly just family and a few helpers. We don't bother with corporate talk or mission statements. We just show the marble and help people load it onto their vehicles. Sometimes the yard gets very crowded and it’s hard to move around, but we manage. The heat can be intense during the summer months, so we drink a lot of water and take breaks in the shade. It’s a humble business, but it’s what we do. We just keep things simple and honest here on Makrana Road. It's a busy life but we enjoy it most days.
