Ahmed Marbles

Ahmed Marbles is tucked away in Madina Colony. We are actually located right behind Hotel Moti Mahal. If you can find the hotel, you can find us pretty easily. It’s a bit quieter back here than it is on the main strip, which we mostly like. We have been handling marble in this spot for a while. The shop is filled with different kinds of stone, and we spend our hours organizing them and showing them to whoever comes by. It’s a lot of physical labor, moving those heavy pieces. The colony is a nice place to work. Sometimes we get the smell of food from the hotel kitchen, which makes us hungry before lunchtime. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a practical space for our business. We are simple people doing a simple job behind the Moti Mahal. The address is Madina Colony, and we are usually around from early morning until the sun goes down. Most of our day is spent checking the stock and talking to people who live nearby. It’s not a complicated life. We just deal with the marble and try to keep the place in order. The dust gets on everything, but you just wipe it off and keep going. We are happy to be here in this part of town and we know most of the people who walk past our yard.
