Chajer Marbles Pvt. Ltd.

We have been running Chajer Marbles Pvt. Ltd. on Borawar Road for quite a while now. It is a busy place where we handle a lot of different stones every single day. The yard is usually quite full of slabs and blocks that come in from the quarries nearby. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that because most of our time is spent out with the materials. You can usually find us wearing dusty clothes because the cutting machines never really stop for long. It’s hard work, but we are used to it by now. The sun gets pretty hot out here on the road, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in traffic and things get a bit backed up, but we just deal with it as it happens. We aren't into big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us by driving down the road and seeing what we have sitting out front. It’s a simple way of doing things and it works for us. We keep track of everything in big ledgers and mostly talk to people face to face. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just know our stones and we know this road. If you stop by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea or moving a slab with the crane. That is just how a normal day goes for us here. We don't have fancy titles or anything, just people working with stone.
