Raj Rajeshwari Marbles

Our business is at F-50 in the Riico Industrial Area in Bidiyad. We are pretty easy to find because we are near the big water tank and that Tandoori Hotel. Sometimes the smell of the food from the hotel makes us hungry while we are working in the yard. We deal in marble and we have quite a bit of it spread out over our plot. It’s a typical industrial setup. There’s stone everywhere and machines running in the background. We spend a lot of our day outside, even when it’s really hot, because that’s where the slabs are. We have to check each piece of marble as it comes from the cutters. Some pieces have better patterns than others, and we try to group them together so they look right. We aren't big on formal stuff. Usually, we are just wearing our work clothes and drinking tea while we wait for the next customer to arrive. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. We’ve been in Bidiyad for many years now and we know the stone business inside out. We don’t make any big claims about being the best. We just provide the marble that people need for their houses. It’s a straightforward trade. If you need stone, you come to the industrial area, look at our stock at F-50, and we take it from there. That is how we work every day.
