Surbhi Marbles

Surbhi Marbles is over on the Bypass Road in Borwar. It’s a bit out of the way, but that makes it easier for the heavy trucks to get in and out without getting stuck in town traffic. We’ve been here for a bit, just handling the daily grind of the stone business. The yard is our main office, really. We spend almost all our time outside among the stacks. You get to know the different types of stone just by the feel of them after a while. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, except when the saws are running or a truck is idling. We don’t do any big promotions or anything. We just put our sign out by the Bypass Road and people find us. Most of the folks who come here are looking for something sturdy for a project. We show them what we’ve got and they decide for themselves. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the forklift. Sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate and we have to cover everything up, but usually, it’s just business as usual. We aren’t trying to do anything complicated. We just want to get through the day's work and make sure the yard is ready for tomorrow. It’s just us out here doing our thing.
