Standard Pink Marbles

Standard Pink Marbles is situated on the Borawar Bye Pass along the Link Road. As the name suggests, we deal a lot with the pink varieties of stone that come from around here. Borawar is a well-known area for marble, so we are surrounded by other yards and cutters. I have been running this place for a while. It is a simple setup on the side of the road. We do not have any big flashy signs. Mostly, people know we are here because they drive past us every day on the Link Road. The yard is usually filled with blocks and cut slabs. Moving them around requires a bit of patience and a lot of muscle. Sometimes the weather is against us, making the ground soft and muddy, but we keep at it. I grew up around these quarries, so the stone business feels natural to me. We do not do much in the way of advertising. We just have our stock out for anyone to see. The pink marble is what many locals want for their smaller projects or decorative work. It is a tough job but it is what we know. My days are spent mostly outdoors, checking the quality of what comes in from the mines. We are not some big city company. We are just local people working with the local stone. If you come by, you will probably find me in the middle of a pile of slabs.
