Shankeshwar Marble

Shankeshwar Marble is located on the By Pass Road in the Madanganj Industrial Area. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our daily work with stone slabs. The location is good because the heavy trucks can get in and out easily without getting stuck in the town traffic. We have a yard full of marble that we’ve collected from different places. It’s not always the tidiest yard, but we know where every single slab is located. My brother and I run the place most days. We don't use much fancy equipment, just a basic crane and our own hands. It gets very hot in the summer out on the bypass, but we are used to that. We deal with all kinds of people, from big builders to guys just fixing up a small room in their home. We don't have any scripted sales pitch. We just show you the stone, tell you the price, and let you decide for yourself. Some pieces have more veins and some are just plain, it just depends on what the earth gives us. We don't try to hide any spots; we show the stone exactly as it is. It feels good to see a slab leave on a truck and know it’s going to be someone’s floor for many years. If you're driving through the industrial part of Madanganj, look for our sign on the bypass. We are usually there from morning till evening.
