Salasar Ceramic

If you’re walking down Vishwa Karma Marg near Gora Baag, you will see our sign for Salasar Ceramic. We have been in this spot for a while now. It is a lot of heavy lifting here because tiles aren't exactly light. Most of us have strong backs because of it. The air always has a bit of a dusty smell to it from all the ceramic. We keep the samples out front so people can see them, but the real work happens in the back where we move the crates. It gets pretty busy in the mornings when the deliveries come in. We have to be careful with the boxes because one drop and everything inside is ruined. We don't have a receptionist or anything. If the bell rings, whoever is closest goes to the front to see what's needed. Sometimes we get people who aren't sure what they want, so we just show them what we have on the racks. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. We like being near Gora Baag because it’s easy for people to give directions to find us. We aren't some huge showroom with bright lights and music. It’s just a place to buy tiles and talk to people who know about them. We drink a lot of water when it's hot and just keep moving the stock around to where it belongs.
