Ram Rana Marbles

Our place is situated on the Borawar Bye Pass Road, which is great because it keeps us out of the main town traffic. It makes it much easier for the big trailers to pull in and load up the marble. We have a good amount of space here, which is necessary when you are dealing with large blocks of stone. We aren't big on fancy talk or corporate polished language. We just run a simple yard where we focus on the cutting and the quality of the material. Most of our days are spent outdoors, regardless of whether it’s hot or raining. You get used to the elements when you work in this business. We are a small team, mostly family and a few helpers who have been with us forever. We don't really do much in the way of promotion. If people like our stone, they tell their friends, and that’s how we keep going. The office is just a small room with a desk where we keep our registers. We don't use computers much, preferring to do things the old-fashioned way. It’s a practical business and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. If you come by the bypass, you’ll see us working. We are usually there from dawn until dusk, just making sure everything is moving along as it should. It’s hard work, but we like it that way.
