Praveen Marbles

Working at Praveen Marbles over at Plot No F-70 in the Riico Industrial Area in Bidiyad keeps us pretty busy. It is an industrial spot, so there is always noise from the cutters and trucks moving around. We spend most of our time out in the yard looking at the different lots of marble. Every piece of stone is different, and we have to spend time sorting through them so we know what we have for anyone who asks. It’s not some big corporate thing here. It’s just us working through the day. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, and your tea gets cold before you can finish it because someone shows up with a truck. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Bidiyad is a place where everyone knows everyone else in the trade. We just handle the day-to-day stuff like measuring slabs and helping people find what they need for their floors or walls. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably see us in our work clothes, maybe covered in a bit of white dust. We just try to be straightforward with people who come to the industrial area looking for stone. It’s honest work and it fills the hours. We keep the inventory moving and make sure the deliveries go out on time. That’s pretty much the whole story for us here.
