Prahlad Agarwal Marbles

I run Prahlad Agarwal Marbles over on Makrana Road in Borawar. This is the heart of the marble country, so everyone around here knows the business well. My shop is right on the main road, making it easy for trucks to come and go. I have been working with stone since I was a young man. It is a family thing, really. We do not have a corporate office or anything like that. It is just a yard with some sheds for the equipment. We focus on getting the slabs ready for people who are building their homes. Makrana Road is always busy with people looking for stone. The dust is everywhere, but that is just part of the life here. I spend my mornings checking the new loads and making sure the slabs are cut right. It is not always perfect. Sometimes a slab breaks or the color is not what we expected, but that is the nature of natural stone. We do not use fancy words to sell our stuff. People just come in, look at what we have, and we talk about the price. It is an honest day's work. I like being my own boss, even if the work is heavy and the hours are long.
