Super Star Marble Makrana

You can find us right on the Bye Pass Road in Makrana, which is in the Nagaur district. Being Super Star Marble Makrana means we are right in the heart of marble country. The Bye Pass Road is always busy with trucks carrying huge blocks of white stone from the quarries. Our yard is usually full of slabs that we’ve cut and polished. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the demand, especially when everyone wants the best quality Makrana marble. We spend a lot of time out in the sun, showing customers the different grains and patterns in the stone. It’s hard to stay clean in this job; there is marble slurry everywhere and the sound of saws is constant. Sometimes we have to wait a long time for the right blocks to come in from the mines. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. We just have a small cabin where we sit and talk to customers over tea. It’s a very traditional way of doing business here in Nagaur. We’ve been at this for a long time and we know the stone inside and out. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. We just stay here on the bypass and keep working with the marble. That’s the whole story of our little place here in Makrana. We just take it one day at a time.
