If you are looking for us, we are right near the big water tank on Matabhar Road in Makrana. It’s a well-known landmark, so people usually find us without too much trouble. We’ve been part of the Nagaur district stone trade for a long time now. The yard is simple and focused on the work. We have our cutting machines in the back and the storage area in the front where we keep the slabs. Makrana is a place where everyone knows about marble, so we don't need to explain much. We just show what we have in stock. The road outside can get very dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but that is just life in this part of the country. We don't have any polished sales pitches or mission statements. We are just a group of people working hard every day. My brothers and I run the place, and we try to be as direct as possible with anyone who walks in. The stone has its own character, and we just try to cut it the right way. Some days are long, especially when we have a big shipment to get out, but we don't mind the work. It’s what we’ve always done. We usually have the gates open early in the morning and stay until the last truck is loaded. It’s an honest way to make a living and we are happy with it. We just do our job.
