Lakshman Marble

You can find Lakshman Marble over at Plot Number F-58 in the Riico Industrial Area. This is in Bidiyad, which is part of the Makrana region. If you know anything about marble, you know Makrana is the place where it all happens. Our yard is right in the middle of all the other factories and units. It gets very loud with the sound of saws cutting through stone all day long. We have big piles of marble waiting to be processed into smaller pieces. I have been working here for a long time and the white dust is just part of life. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It is a practical space where we move heavy blocks and slabs. Most of the people who come here are looking for that specific Makrana stone for their homes. We show them the different grades we have on the lot that day. The sun gets very hot in the industrial area, but we stay out there making sure the orders are right. My family has been around the stone business for years. We just focus on getting the marble ready for whoever needs it for their building projects. The trucks come in and out of the Riico area constantly. It is a hardworking place. We don't do anything flashy, just cut and sell stone. It’s what we know how to do best here in Bidiyad.
