About Kanheya Marble Enterprises – Building & Construction Material in Makrana
Our yard is at No. E-210 (A) in the RIICO Industrial Area of Bidiyad. It’s a dusty place, mostly because of all the stone we handle every day. We have slabs of marble stacked up everywhere, some from the local quarries and some from further away. The sound of the cutters and the polishing machines is the soundtrack to our lives here. We spend a lot of time walking around the yard, showing people different pieces of stone and pointing out the veins and the colors. It’s heavy work, and you need a good pair of boots if you’re going to spend the day on the shop floor. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. Our marble is just sitting there in the sun or under the shed, waiting to be loaded onto a truck. The office is a small concrete room where we keep the invoices and a bottle of cold water for the customers. We get covered in white dust from head to toe by the time the afternoon rolls around. We don't use big words or try to sell people on things they don’t need. We just show them what we have in stock and tell them the price. It’s a straightforward business, dealing with the earth and the heavy machines that shape it. We just take it one slab at a time.
