Marble World India is based out on the By Pass Road, right near the Jhalara Talab area in Makrana. If you know the bypass, you know it’s the main artery for the marble trade here. We have a lot of space out here, which is necessary when you are dealing with large stone blocks. The Jhalara Talab is a local spot that most people use as a reference point to find us. Our daily routine involves a lot of checking the yard and making sure the blocks and slabs are lined up right for inspection. It can be a bit rugged out here on the road, with the heat and the dust, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing at all. We are just local folks who understand how the marble market works in Makrana. We see a lot of different people coming through, from big builders to homeowners just looking for a few slabs. Every piece of stone is different, and we spend time making sure we know what we are holding in stock. The business has its ups and downs depending on the construction season, but we stay busy enough to keep going. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just open up the gates, do our work, and try to be fair with everyone who walks in. It’s a simple way of working on the Makrana By Pass Road.
