Indiyana Marble

Indiyana Marble is located at Plot No. E-172 in the Riico Industrial Area of Bidiyad. Since it’s a dedicated industrial zone, there is always the sound of cutting and trucks in the background. We have been working from this particular plot for several years now. Our setup is quite simple. We have the open area for storage and the sheds where the machines are kept. Bidiyad is a well-known place for marble, and we are right in the middle of all that activity. Most of our day is taken up by managing the stock and making sure the slabs are loaded onto the transport safely. It is not a glamorous way to earn a living. There is a constant layer of dust on everything and it can get incredibly hot inside the sheds during the summer months. We don't have people to write fancy advertisements or do marketing for us. We just talk directly to the customers who come to the gate. Most of them are builders or contractors who already know what they are looking for. We show them the different blocks we have, agree on a fair price, and then start the work. It’s a basic cycle that we repeat every day. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the other yard owners in the Riico area. We are just a local community of workers doing our best with the material we have.
