Giridhar Marble Suppliers is tucked away in the Madanganj Industrial Area, right on Borawar Road. This is the heart of the Makrana and Nagaur stone trade. Being near the Marble Mandi means we are always in the middle of all the action. You can hear the saws cutting through stone from miles away. Our place is full of the white and grey marble that this region is famous for. We have piles of slabs leaning against each other in the yard. It is a bit of a maze sometimes, if I am being honest. We spend our hours moving these heavy pieces with the crane and making sure nothing gets chipped or broken. My father used to say that marble is a living thing, and you have to treat it right or it won't look good in a home. We don't have a fancy office or any of that corporate polish. We just have a small room with a fan and some ledgers to keep track of things. Most of our business is done right there on the Borawar Road, with the dust blowing and the trucks rumbling past. We know the quarry owners and the transporters. It is a tight-knit community of workers. When someone comes looking for Makrana stone, we show them what we have in the stacks. We don't try to push anything. We just let them look. It is a slow, steady process we have done for years.
