Fiza Marbles

Down in Village Bhatipura, you’ll find us at Fiza Marbles. We are situated right near the Jagra Talab, which is a nice landmark in this part of the Nawa Tehsil. Being in the Nagaur district means we are right in the middle of stone country, so there’s always something happening with marble around here. Our yard isn't very large, but we try to keep it packed with whatever slabs we can get. The proximity to the talab means it can get a bit humid, but mostly it’s just the usual Rajasthan heat we deal with every day. We don't have a big staff, so if you come by, you’ll likely see the same two or three faces every time. We spend most of our hours moving slabs around with the crane and checking for any cracks or flaws. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean, as the slurry and dust get everywhere. We see a lot of local farmers and tradesmen who are looking for something durable for their floors. We don't do much talking; we just show the stock and let the stone speak for itself. It’s a quiet life out here in Bhatipura compared to the bigger cities, but we prefer it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work in front of us. If you’re near the water at Jagra Talab, you’re basically at our doorstep already.
