Nanwan Farmer Producer Company Limited

We operate out of House Number 12 in the village of Nanwan. It’s under the Mahendragarh district, postcode 123024. Chander Prakash lives here and he lets us use the space for Nanwan Farmer Producer Company Limited. It’s a simple village house, nothing special to look at from the outside. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the local crops and helping the guys in the village get their stuff to market. Being in a VPO means we are right in the middle of where the actual farming happens every day. You can usually find a few of us sitting near the entrance of H.No.12 talking about the harvest or the price of diesel. We don't have a website or any of that, just our names on the legal documents. Chander is the one who keeps everything in order so we don't lose the papers. The village is quiet most of the time except when the tractors are moving through the lanes. We wanted to have a company so we could work as a group instead of everyone doing their own thing. It’s much better that way for the small farmers in Nanwan. We aren't big business people, we are just locals who grew up on this soil. We know every field around the 123024 area. Sometimes the work is slow but we don't mind. We just want to make sure the farming in our village stays strong. It's about looking out for each other and making sure we can all keep going.
