Mundia Khera Farmer Producer Company

Mundia Khera is a quiet little village in Mahendragarh, and that is where you will find us. We operate mainly out of Mani Ram Yadav’s house, which is House Number 92. It’s a very local setup, very grassroots. We started this farmer producer company because we realized that individually, we didn’t have much say in anything, but together, we might actually get somewhere. Most of us have been working these fields since we were kids. Mahendragarh is known for being a bit dry, so we have to be smart about how we manage things. The paperwork can be a real headache, especially with all the rules and regulations, but we keep at it. Mani Ram’s place is usually busy with people coming in and out, asking questions about the upcoming season or checking on their membership details. We don't have any slick marketing or a team of experts. It’s just us, the local farmers, trying to make the most of what we have. We talk about the crops, the water levels, and who is going to the market this week. It’s a simple life, though it can be quite stressful when the rains don’t come on time. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving forward for everyone in the village. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it feels right doing it here at home with people we have known since childhood.
