Guwani Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are basically just a group of farmers from around Guwani village here in the Narnaul area. It all started because a few of us were sitting around talking about how hard it is to get things done alone. We ended up setting up this company, if you can call it that, right out of Tarun Yadav’s place at House Number 89. Most days you’ll find some of us there just sorting through paperwork or talking about the season’s crops. Mahendergarh can be a tough place to farm because the weather doesn’t always play nice, but we manage. There isn't any fancy office with glass doors or anything like that. It’s just a room where we keep our records and try to figure out the best way to move our produce. We’ve all grown up in these fields, so we know the soil pretty well. Sometimes the work gets a bit overwhelming, especially when the harvest is coming up and everyone is busy at the same time. But having this setup helps us stay organized. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just want to make sure the folks farming in Guwani have a way to work together. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the village and the tehsil office. Usually, someone is always dropping by Tarun’s house to check on something or just to have a cup of tea while we discuss the market rates. That’s pretty much how we run things every day.
