Nichlaul Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of the Nichlaul area, specifically near Maharajganj. We work out of Paras Nath Gupta’s place in Ramdhani Jiginhwa. It’s a quiet spot, and most people around here know us by name rather than by the company title. We started this group because the individual farmers in our village were having a hard time getting things to the bigger markets. Now, we use this collective setup to handle everything. It’s not a high-tech operation. We spend a lot of time in the fields and then come back to the village to sort out the logistics. The paperwork is mostly handled on a small desk with a lot of tea being served. There are good days when the weather behaves and bad days when it feels like everything is going wrong at once. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to make us look better than we are. We’re just people from the 273304 zip code trying to make a living. You’ll usually see us moving sacks or talking to drivers about the best routes. It’s a busy life, and there isn't much time for anything else once the harvest season kicks in. We do what we can with what we have. It’s simple, it’s local, and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset.
