We are based out of Surendra Kumar’s place in the village of Harihar Purchaugarwa, which is near Nawabganj. The name Ram Pyare Ram Dulare Brothers Producer Company Limited comes from family, which is how we run things. We are all pretty much like family here anyway. Surendra looks after the post and the paperwork at his house. It’s a quiet spot in Nawabganj, away from the big noise of the city. We spend our time working the land and making sure the brothers and the rest of the group are doing okay. It’s not a fancy operation by any means. We have our meetings in the yard or under the trees when it’s hot. There’s always a lot of work to do with the planting and the weeding. Some days the sun is just brutal, but the work doesn’t stop itself. We’ve been in Harihar Purchaugarwa for a long time, so we know every inch of the soil. We don't use big words or have complicated plans. We just look at what the ground needs and we try to provide it. It’s a lot of physical labor and not much sleep during the harvest, but that’s the way it’s always been for us. If you’re looking for us, just ask for Surendra Kumar’s place in the village.
