Jagdei Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group is located in Bakainia Khajuria village, which is near Richha. We go by the name Jagdei Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s a small place and most people around here are involved in agriculture one way or another. We set this up to give the local farmers a bit more strength when it comes to selling what we grow and buying the stuff we need for the fields. It is a simple setup really. We don't have fancy brochures or a website that looks like it belongs to a big bank. Most of our meetings happen sitting outside or in a small room in the village. We talk about the wheat, the rice, and whatever else is in season. Since we are in the 243201 area, we deal with the same weather and water issues as everyone else nearby. Being part of a producer company just means we aren't alone when things get tough. We try to share knowledge about new ways to farm or how to get better yields without spending too much money. It is a community effort through and through. Everyone knows everyone else in Bakainia Khajuria, so there is a lot of trust involved. We just want to make sure the farming stays viable for the next generation. It’s not about getting rich, it’s about making sure our village stays productive and our families have what they need.
