Meenakshi Marbles & Granites

You can find us at No.9/1 on the Sivagangai Main Road. We are right near the Pandi Kovil bus stop, which is where a lot of people wait for their rides into the city. It’s a very hot spot during the day because there isn’t much shade on the main road, but we are used to it by now. Working with marbles and granites is heavy, back-breaking work, and there isn't any way around that. We spend our time loading and unloading slabs and showing customers the different patterns. Meenakshi Marbles & Granites has been here at this bus stop location for quite some time. We don't have a marketing team or any of that. Usually, it's just us and the noise of the traffic passing by. The Sivagangai road is always busy with trucks and cars, so it never feels lonely here. We don't make any big claims about being the best or anything. We just have our stock, and we show it to whoever stops their car or gets off the bus to look. It’s a very local way of doing things. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy around the yard, but we just clean it up and keep going. We don’t have much of a story to tell, we are just here every day working with stone and trying to get things right for the people who come to see us. It is just life on the main road.
