Rubals Chicken restaurant

Our chicken restaurant is at Shop no. 2 on Rani Jhanshi Road in the Civil Lines area of Ludhiana. This part of the city is known as Food Chowpatty and it gets really lively once the sun goes down. We focus mostly on chicken dishes because that is what we know how to do best. The shop is small and the kitchen takes up most of the space. You can usually smell what we are cooking from the street. It is a busy road with lots of bikes and cars always passing by, so there is a lot of noise. We do not have a huge seating area, it is more of a casual spot where you grab a plate and enjoy the food while watching the street life. We prepare everything ourselves every day. Sometimes the spice levels are a bit higher if the chilies we got that morning are extra sharp. We do not use machines for everything, so things might look a little different each time you visit. It is just a local Ludhiana joint. We have been here for a while and we know how the local crowd likes their food. We do not try to be a fancy dining hall with white tablecloths. It is just about getting the chicken right and making sure nobody leaves hungry. If you are around Civil Lines in the evening, you will see our sign among all the other food stalls.
