Adarsh Dhaba

Adarsh Dhaba is right in Ludhiana Central. If you are near the Ludhiana Junction railway station, you are basically right next to us. We are in the 141008 area. Being near the station means it is always busy. There is always the sound of trains and people rushing around to catch their rides. It’s a simple dhaba, nothing like those fancy restaurants you see in the bigger cities. We have wooden tables and a lot of movement. I’m usually behind the counter or checking on the kitchen. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the people coming off the trains. We don't really bother with being corporate or polished. We just serve food to whoever walks in. The station area is a bit dusty and loud, but that’s where the life is. We’ve been here for years and have seen all kinds of travelers. Some people are just passing through, others live right here in Ludhiana Central. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just open early and close late. It’s a basic spot for a meal. You won't find anything too fancy here, just a place to sit and eat for a bit. We try to keep the food hot and the benches clean as much as possible. That’s pretty much the whole story of Adarsh Dhaba. We’re just a part of the station landscape. It's a busy life but we are used to it by now.
