Bansi vashno dhabha

Our dhaba is right near the Clock Tower on Railway Station Road. This part of Ludhiana is always moving and it never really seems to get quiet. Being at shop number 545 puts us right in the middle of all the travelers and shopkeepers. People are always rushing to catch a train or coming out of the station looking for something to eat. We keep things very simple here because that is what works best for this location. The benches are old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint but we are too busy to worry about that most days. We start making fresh rotis and vegetables early in the morning for the breakfast crowd. It gets quite hot inside when the tandoor is running at full speed. We don't have a lot of space so people often end up sharing tables during the rush hours. The noise from the station and the street is always there in the background. Our staff consists of just a few people who have been working together for a long time. We don't spend money on advertising because everyone who walks past the Clock Tower can see us. It is just a small place serving food to people who are on their way somewhere else. We keep the food honest and the prices low enough for anyone to afford a full meal. It is just life on the station road.
