Annapurna Cafeteria

If you are in Ludhiana near the Civil Lines area, you might have seen Annapurna Cafeteria. We are at number 52, right in the Green Park section. The Dandi Swami Temple is very close to us, which is where most people recognize the area from. This part of Ludhiana, 141001, is usually quite peaceful compared to the main city markets, but we still get a good flow of people. We set up this cafeteria as a simple place for people to get a drink or a snack. It is not a high-end cafe with expensive machines. We just have the basics. On days when there are festivals or big events at the Dandi Swami Temple, we get really busy with the crowds walking over from the prayers. Most of the time, though, it is just students and local residents from Green Park. The staff here is just a few local people who know the neighborhood well. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that; we just talk to the customers like normal people. The tables are basic and the menu is written on a small board. We spend our days making tea and keeping the place tidy for the next person who walks in. It is a quiet life for the most part, and we are happy to be a small part of the Civil Lines community without making too much of a fuss.
