Recovery Lounge

Our spot is right inside The Taksonz, which most people in Ludhiana know because it's right across from the railway station. If you’ve ever stepped out of Ludhiana Junction and seen the Clock Tower, you’ve basically found us. We call it the Recovery Lounge because, honestly, after a long train ride or fighting through the traffic around the station, people just need a place to sit and get their heads straight. It isn't a high-tech place. We have some heavy chairs, a bar that’s seen plenty of use, and a few tables where you can put your bags down. The noise from the street stays outside mostly, which is a relief for anyone who’s been traveling all day. We get a lot of people waiting for their connections or folks staying at the hotel for work. The lighting is low, and the air conditioning usually works pretty well, though on those really hot Ludhiana days it struggles a bit like everything else. We don’t have a big corporate team running things; it’s just us and the hotel staff keeping the place clean and making sure people have what they need. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the lounge stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit of a classic feel, I guess you could say, without the fluff. Just a place to have a drink and wait for your platform number to be called.
