We've been sitting here at Kochar Market Chowk for a good while now. If you look right across from Adarsh Tent Decorators, that is where we are. Rani Market gets pretty busy, especially on Model Gram Road when the traffic picks up in the afternoon. It's not a fancy place or anything. Most days, we just focus on getting the food out to people who are hungry and working nearby. It gets quite loud with the horns and people walking by all the time outside. The kitchen stays busy from morning till late at night. We don't really do anything special, just the usual stuff you’d expect at a dhaba. Sometimes the chairs might be a bit wobbly or the floor needs another sweep because of the dust coming in from the street, but we try our best to keep things moving. Ludhiana is a fast city, so people usually just grab their meal and head out to their next job. We see the same faces every week, mostly locals who live around here or folks working in the small shops nearby. It feels like a neighborhood spot because that is exactly what it is. Nothing more, nothing less. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run. The weather gets really hot in the summer, making the kitchen even warmer, but we just deal with it. It’s a simple life here on the road. People know where to find us.
