Lalli Vaishno Dhaba is situated right on National Highway 1 along the Jalandhar Bye Pass Road. We’re easy to spot because we’re near BEST Price and right across from Metro Cash & Carry. Being on the highway means we get all sorts of people stopping by at all hours. Truck drivers, families on road trips, and locals from Ludhiana all sit at our tables. It’s a busy place and the stove rarely gets a break during the day. We focus on simple, vegetarian food that fills you up. We don't have a fancy menu with hundreds of items. We just make the things we know people like when they’ve been driving for hours on end. The 141008 area is always moving and shaking. Sometimes the noise from the big trucks outside is a lot, but that’s the highway for you. We keep our place open long hours because you never know when someone will be hungry. The chairs are simple and the service is quick because people are usually in a hurry. We don't use any corporate talk or have a "vision" statement. We just want to make sure the dal is hot and the rotis are fresh. My family has been running dhabas for a long time, so it’s just what we do.
