Vinayaka Granite & Tiles is right here at 876, Avadhanapatti. Most days start with us moving heavy slabs around. The yard gets pretty dusty, but that is just how it goes when you deal with stone all day. People from around the neighborhood stop by to look at different patterns for their floors or bathrooms. We spend a lot of time just showing folks what is in stock. It is heavy work, honestly. My back usually aches by the afternoon. We have stacks of tiles piled up in the corner, and sometimes it takes a while to find the exact one someone saw last week. The sun hits the granite pieces in the morning and they look different than they do when it is cloudy. We just keep things moving here. Sometimes the truck delivery is late, and we have to wait around. It is not fancy. We just have a lot of stone and we spend our time cutting it or loading it onto small tempos for local houses. The coffee shop down the road is where we usually grab a quick break. We don't have a big office, just the space with the materials and a small desk where we keep the receipts.
