You can find us at 329 Avadhanapatti on the Main Road. Being on the main road means there is always noise and people passing by. We have been here long enough that we don't even hear the traffic anymore. The yard is where we spend most of our time. We get deliveries of big slabs and then we have to figure out where to put them so we can still get the old ones out. It is like a big puzzle sometimes. We don't use any fancy software to keep track of things, we just know what we have. If you come by, you'll see us in our work boots moving things around. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so it gets warm. We usually have some music playing on a small radio to pass the time. It is a family thing, so we all know what needs to be done without talking much. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy and we have to be careful not to slip while carrying tools. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the area, just a place that does the work right. People come from the nearby villages because they know we have been on this road for years. We just keep our heads down and handle the stone as it comes in and goes out.
