Alif Granite

We are over at No 1/391 in Sathya Sai Nagar. If you walk past the corner, you will see Alif Granite right there. It is a busy place most mornings. We spend a lot of time moving these heavy slabs around the yard. The granite is heavy and it gets quite hot under the sun here. Our guys are usually busy with the lifting and the cutting. You can hear the machines running from the street. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular workplace where we deal with stone every single day. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that is just part of the job. People from around Sathya Sai Nagar stop by to look at what we have on the racks. We have been in this spot for a while now. The neighborhood knows us. We just keep to our work. There are stacks of different colors piled up along the walls. We try to keep things organized, but when a big delivery comes in, the whole place gets a bit crowded. It takes a lot of effort to move these pieces without any cracks. We just focus on getting the slabs ready for whoever needs them. It is a lot of manual labor and standing around in the yard. The day starts early and ends when the sun goes down. That is how it goes at Alif Granite. We do not have much time for sitting around.
