Thirumalaiyaan Granites

Out here in Hosur, we have our setup at No: 2/675 in the TNHB area. Thirumalaiyaan Granites is located in the 1st Phase, which is a pretty well-known part of town. We spend our days surrounded by big blocks and slabs of granite. Hosur can get really dusty and hot, especially when you are working outside in the yard all day. We have the stones laid out so people can see the different colors and patterns. It’s heavy work, moving these pieces around with the cranes and making sure nothing gets damaged. We have been in this 1st Phase spot for a good while. The TNHB neighborhood is mostly quiet until the trucks come in to load up. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to handle the stone. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers and checking the stock. People come to us because we are right here in Hosur and easy to get to. Our office is just a small room near the gate where we keep the books. We don't bother with much else besides the granite. It is a straightforward business. We wake up, come to the yard, and move stones until it’s time to go home. That is how it goes for us at No: 2/675 every single day of the week. There is always a layer of stone dust on everything, but we don't mind it much.
