H. K. Granites

H. K. Granites is out near the Sidco Industrial Estate in Bargur. Our address is S.No.237/2C in the Seemanur-Villivakkam area of Achamangalam. It’s a bit out of the way for some, but it’s where all the industrial action is. We have a lot of space here, which is good because granite takes up a lot of room. It’s a working yard, plain and simple. You’ll hear the machines running most of the day. There’s always dust in the air. We don’t have a fancy office for meetings. We usually just talk to people right out where the stone is. It can get pretty hot during the summer months, but we just keep working through it. We’ve got a small crew here. Most of them have been with us for years. We know the stone inside and out. It’s a long way from the city, but folks find their way here when they want to see the slabs in person. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on being here every day and doing the work. Sometimes a truck gets stuck in the mud if it’s been raining, but we manage. It’s just the reality of running a granite yard in this part of the country. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just sell stone and try to keep the stacks organized for the next customer.
