Gurukripa Granites

We spend most of our days here at the Acchmangalam X-Road in Bargur surrounded by slabs of stone. It is a dusty job but someone has to do it. We have been working with granite for quite a while now. The yard gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the polished surfaces. We mostly handle local orders and help people pick out what looks right for their floors or kitchens. It is not fancy work. We just move the stone, cut it when needed, and make sure it gets to where it is going without cracking. The trucks come and go from the main road all day. Sometimes the traffic at the junction is a bit much, but we are used to the noise. People stop by asking about different colors or how thick the slabs are. We try to give them a straight answer without too much talk. It is just a regular business here in this part of Tamil Nadu. We know the material well because we see it every single day. If you walk around the yard, you will see piles of different blocks waiting to be sorted. It is heavy work and keeps us busy from morning until we close up for the evening. We just focus on getting the slabs loaded up and making sure the counts are right before the drivers head out. It takes a lot of effort to move these heavy pieces, but it's what we do.
