Sri Venkateswara Granite

Sri Venkateswara Granite is located at 1335/1 on Bagimanoor Cross Street in Thogarapalli. We are situated near the Thogarapalli Post office, which is a central spot in our local area. Our yard is where we keep all the granite slabs that we have in stock. The street isn't very wide, so it can be a challenge when we have big trucks coming in to deliver or pick up stone. We don't have a lot of high-tech machinery; we mostly rely on simple tools and hard work to get the stone ready. The work is very physical and involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy pieces. We usually start quite early in the morning so we can get some work done before the midday heat becomes too intense. Most of the people who visit us are locals from Thogarapalli or nearby villages who are working on their homes. We walk around the yard with them and show them the different stacks of granite we have available. We don't try to push them into buying anything specific. We just show them the different colors and let them touch the stone to see the texture for themselves. It’s a fairly quiet life out here, except for the occasional sound of stone being cut. We keep things very simple and just focus on doing our job day by day. Thogarapalli is a small community, so we rely on people knowing us and our work.
