Sri Krishna Granites

Our yard is right on Krishnagiri Main Road in Barugur. If you're looking for us, we're at number 142 and 8. It’s a dusty place because of all the stone we move around every day. We have slabs of granite sitting out in the sun most of the time. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually covered in grit by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now. My brother and I started helping out here when we were younger, and now we just run the whole thing ourselves. There’s no big reception area or coffee machine for guests. You just walk up to the shed and someone will be there to help you out. The traffic on the main road is always loud, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other over the trucks. We deal with local builders mostly. They come in their small lorries and we load them up. Rain makes the yard a bit of a mess with all the mud, but that’s just how it is when you work with stone. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures. Most people just see the stacks of granite from the road and pull in. We just try to keep enough stock so people don’t have to wait too long for their orders. It's hard work, but we're used to the heat and the noise by now.
