Shri Devaraaj Granite Export

We are based out of Bianapalli in Ramapuram village, right along the Bangalore Road. This is where Shri Devaraaj Granite Export operates. Even though "export" is in the name, we are a pretty grounded bunch of people. Our facility is out where there’s enough room to store the large blocks we get from the quarries. The Bangalore Road is always busy with lorries, so we are right in the middle of the transport route. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the granite before it gets packed up. It’s a lot of looking for cracks or uneven colors. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to people. If the stone is good, we say so. If it’s got a flaw, we point it out. Most of our day is spent outdoors or in the sheds where the cutting happens. It can get pretty loud and messy with the water and the stone slurry. We have a small team of local workers who know their way around a slab of granite. We don't have a big fancy office with chairs. Most of the time, we are standing around a piece of stone discussing how to cut it best. It’s practical work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just do our job and go home.
