Dev Granites

If you look for D.No. 3/345-A on the Bargur-Jagadevi Road, you will find Dev Granites. We are right near the Sidco Industrial Estate in Achamangalam Village & Post. It is a nice enough spot, though the road gets a lot of traffic from the industrial side of things. We have a lot of stone sitting around the yard, mostly granite that we spend our time sorting through. The village of Achamangalam is where we call home for the business. It’s not a huge operation with a lot of office staff, just the people who actually work with the material. We deal with the daily heat and the rain when it comes, just keeping the granite covered or moving it as needed. Some people find the Bargur-Jagadevi Road a bit narrow when the big trucks are on it, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable one where you can see the work being done right there in front of you. Being near the Sidco estate helps because there are always people around who understand the industry. We just keep to our schedule, handle the stone carefully, and try to make sure everything stays organized in the yard, which is harder than it sounds sometimes. It’s just how we spend our days out here in the village near the industrial estate, just doing the work that needs to be done with the granite slabs.
